Petite, Not Quiet

I am not the tallest girl in the room. I never have been. For a long time I thought that was something I had to apologize for, and at some point I stopped.

Petite has its own power. Curves in the right places, a face that lands well in photos, the kind of frame that fits into the right outfits without trying too hard. I lean into it now instead of fighting it.

Confidence is not really about height or size. It is about whether you walk into a room like you belong there. I do. I figured that part out a while ago and I am not giving it back.
