Black on Black

All black tonight. My sheer corset top with the long black skirt that touches the floor. I love how this outfit makes me feel. Tall, slim, powerful. Like I could walk into any room and own it. I was getting ready in the hotel and caught my reflection in the elevator mirror. Had to stop and take a photo because the lighting was perfect. Golden warm light from one side, cool white from the other. My straight black hair with the bangs framing my face just right. My silver watch is the only thing that breaks the all-black look and I think that is what makes it work. One small detail that says I thought about this. I have a tattoo on my shoulder that people always ask about. It is personal. Maybe I will tell you the story someday if you ask nicely. I am 34 and I think this might be my best era yet. I know exactly what looks good on me now. No more experimenting, no more guessing. Just confidence.
