More Than a Pretty Face

People always comment on my looks first. I get it. That is what they see. But there is more going on up here than most people give me credit for.

I was sitting outside on the patio today, just thinking. The bamboo wall behind me was warm from the sun. I had my white top on, the one with the ruffles. I like how it looks against my skin. Simple things like that make me happy.

Someone told me once that I should talk less and just be pretty. I smiled and kept talking. That is kind of my whole approach to life. You can look and you can listen. Both are free.

I took some photos because the light was good and I was feeling confident. Not the loud kind of confident. The quiet kind where you just know you look right and you do not need anyone to tell you.

I think the best version of me is the one who does not try to prove anything. She just sits there and lets you figure it out yourself.
