Finally Saw My Girl Again

I got to see my friend today and I am still smiling about it. Her name is D'lai and we have not hung out in way too long. Life gets busy, schedules do not match, and before you know it weeks have passed. But today we made it happen.

We took photos together because obviously. When you finally see your friend after ages, you document it. She looked amazing as always. I think we feed off each other's energy. When we are together the confidence doubles.

Having good friends matters more than people realize. Especially as a trans woman in Thailand. You need people who understand you without explanation. D'lai is one of those people. No judgment, just love and a lot of laughing.

Today was a good day. Simple, fun, full of the kind of happiness that does not need to be anything more than what it is. Two friends catching up and reminding each other that they are not alone.
