Wednesday Glow

Wednesday morning and I gave myself a little extra time in front of the mirror. Fresh makeup, hair actually styled, an outfit that was not the first thing I grabbed. Midweek gets a bad reputation, but today I decided mine was going to be beautiful.

There is a certain quiet confidence that comes on days like this. When you made the effort and the mirror is cooperating, you feel like you could walk into any room and belong there. That is a good feeling to carry around.

I do not have big plans today. Some sun, some coffee, maybe a drink by the pool later if the afternoon stays warm. The day does not need to be dramatic. I am already glowing.
