Happy Labor Day from Thailand. I know it is a small holiday outside of here, but for us it is a real day. A pause. A reason to stop and breathe.
I am not the kind of girl who fills the day with big plans. My version of celebrating is slow morning, good food, a few minutes in the mirror getting ready for nothing in particular. The simple stuff.
The people who keep things running do not always get noticed. Today is for them. The shop owners, the kitchen staff, the girls behind every counter. I have been all of those at different times in my life.
If you have the day off, I hope you spend it with someone you actually like. That part matters more than the holiday.
