Red Sparkle Thursday

Thursday night and I felt like dressing up even though I had nowhere special to go. Sometimes that is the best reason to look good. For yourself. I put on my red sparkly top, the one that catches light even in bad lighting. Threw my grey bomber jacket over it because the nights in Samui have been cooler lately. I love this jacket. It has little patches on it, a rainbow, a star. Makes me feel like I am still young and playful. My Chanel earrings went on last. They are my favorite pair. I know some people think accessories do not matter that much but for me they finish the whole look. Gold watch on, necklace on, quick check in the mirror. Done. I took a selfie against the wall and honestly I liked what I saw. 47 years old and still feeling it. Age is just a number when you take care of yourself and dress the way that makes you happy. Nobody else gets to decide when you stop being beautiful.
