Sunday Night, Island Quiet

Sunday night on Samui is its own thing. The day-trippers are gone, the beach is quieter, and the air feels softer than it does at any other time of the week. I love it.

I went for a walk along the sand earlier. Warm under my feet, the moon doing its job, a couple of beach bars playing music low enough that you could still hear the waves over the speakers. That is the version of Samui I keep coming back to.

People come here for the loud nights, but the slow ones are the ones I would actually choose. A drink, a view, someone you like next to you, no rush.

If you ever come, do not just chase the busy stuff. The quiet hours on this island are worth the trip on their own.
