Saturday on the Island

Saturday morning in Samui and the sun was already bright by the time I opened my eyes. I could hear the palm trees outside doing their thing. That sound never gets old no matter how long you live here.

I put on my black and white top, the off-shoulder one with the stripes. Added my gold chain because weekends deserve a little extra. Did my lips dark and let my hair fall straight. Saturday Jenny is a little more polished than Wednesday Jenny.

I did not have any big plans. That is the beauty of living on an island. The beach is always there. The sun is always there. You do not need to schedule relaxation when it is built into every day.

I took some photos before heading out. The light in my room was warm and golden and I wanted to remember how I felt in that moment. Calm, pretty, unbothered. That is my favorite version of myself.

Some people ask me what it is like living in Koh Samui full time. I tell them it is like being on vacation except you also do laundry. I would not trade it for anything.
