Monday Night Glam

I put on my black top and my crystal earrings and I did not even have anywhere to go. That is the thing about Samui on a Monday. Nothing is really happening but you get ready anyway because it makes you feel good.

I did my lips red tonight. The dark red that I save for when I want to feel a little dangerous. It takes me maybe twenty minutes to do my whole face now. I used to take an hour. I have gotten faster because I know exactly what works on me.

My room is a mess right now but you cannot tell from the photos. That is the magic of a good angle and good lighting. Every girl knows this. You do not need a studio. You just need to know where the light hits your face right.

Nobody saw me tonight except my phone camera. And that is fine. Sometimes the best audience is yourself. I looked at the photos after and thought yes, that is her. That is the girl I wanted to become.
