Friday Shopping List

Friday is shopping day for me. It has been that way for years. I finish whatever I need to finish and then I go walk around the shops and see what catches my eye. It is not about buying everything. It is about the looking.

I got ready quick today. Hair down, my checkered bikini top because it was hot outside, light makeup. Nothing fancy. When you are just running errands you do not need to go all out but you still want to look put together.

I found a few things I liked but did not buy any of them. That happens sometimes. You walk around for an hour, try on three things, and leave with nothing. But I still had a good time. Shopping for me is about being out in the world and feeling like myself.

I took some selfies in the car before I left. The afternoon light was warm and I was feeling good about how the week went. Five days done, nothing broken, still looking cute. That is a win.

The weekend starts now and I have no plans. That is exactly how I like it.
