Friday Shine

Friday and I decided I needed to shine a little. Not in any big way. Just lipstick, hair actually done, the kind of effort that makes you feel like you are treating yourself.

I have noticed something about myself. On the days I make an effort, I like everything more. The coffee tastes better, the music sounds better, even my own reflection is kinder to me. It is silly but it is true.

So here I am, with lipstick on at home, with nowhere in particular to go. The outfit is for me first. The photos are the bonus.

Friday night is still coming. Who knows, maybe tonight I actually go out.
