New Year, Same Me

Happy New Year. Or at least that is what I said to everyone last week. Now it is just January and things are back to normal. I went out the other night wearing my black top, the one with the cutouts on the shoulders. Nothing fancy. Just wanted to be outside and feel the cool air. Bangkok in January is the best because the weather is actually nice for once. I had my hair down with my bangs and kept everything simple. Sometimes simple is better. I do not always need the full glam look. A little lipstick, a little smile, and I am good to go. I am 27 now and I keep thinking about what I want this year to look like. Last year was okay but okay is not enough. I want more. More experiences, more connections, more reasons to smile like I am smiling in this photo. The thing about a new year is everyone talks about changing. I do not want to change. I just want to do more of what already makes me happy. That feels like enough of a resolution.
