Sparkle for Saturday

Saturday night and I went all out. The sheer dress with the red stones. The long dark hair. Dark lips. Everything turned up because I was feeling better and I wanted to celebrate that in the only way I know how. By looking incredible.

This dress is one of my favorites. It catches the light from every angle and the red stones look like they are glowing. I bought it online and when it arrived I was nervous it would not fit right. But it did. Sometimes the internet gets it right.

I did my hair wavy tonight instead of straight. It changes my whole face. People say I look like a different person with wavy hair and I think that is the point. I like having options. I like that I can be one version of myself on Wednesday and a completely different one on Saturday.

Samui on a Saturday night has this energy. Everyone is out. Everyone looks good. The music is loud and the air smells like the ocean and food stalls. I took my photos before I left because the lighting at home is better. Smart girl moves.
