Red Hair, Rainy Wednesday

The storm came through Samui today but it was just the tail end of something bigger. The rain was soft and the wind was warm. I stood by the window for a minute and watched it pass. It was over before I finished my coffee.

I was already dressed for work. My red top, the one with the thin straps. It matches my hair which I did not plan but I am not mad about it. Sometimes things just come together like that.

I have had red hair for a while now and I still catch people looking. I like that. It is bold and a little different and that is exactly why I keep it. Not everyone can pull off this color but I think it suits me. My friends say I look like a different person every time I change my hair. Maybe that is the point.

Work was easy today. The weather kept things calm and quiet. I sent messages to a few people, did my usual things, and took some photos during my break. The bedroom light was soft because of the clouds outside and it made everything look gentle.

I like rainy days on the island. They slow everything down and give you permission to just be still for a while. Tomorrow the sun will be back and the energy will pick up again. But today was nice just like this.
